In a thrilling Week 13 matchup, the Los Angeles Rams topped the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 34-24, solidifying their playoff aspirations in the 2026 season. The Rams capitalized on their home-field advantage, delivering a performance that showcased their offensive firepower and defensive resilience. Matthew Stafford was the standout performer for the Rams, throwing for an impressive 411 yards and four touchdown passes, demonstrating pinpoint accuracy and leadership throughout the game. Kyren Williams added balance to the offense with 48 rushing yards, while the Chiefs struggled to contain the Rams’ aerial assault. Xavier Worthy made a notable impact for Kansas City, racking up 176 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Stafford's onslaught. Defensively, the Rams made crucial plays that shifted the momentum in their favor, particularly Quentin Lake’s two interceptions which stifled Kansas City's scoring opportunities. Meanwhile, the Chiefs’ defense, anchored by R Mason Thomas with two sacks, offered moments of pressure but couldn't consistently disrupt Stafford's rhythm. The game turned decisively in the Rams' favor in the second quarter when Lake's first interception set up a touchdown that gave Los Angeles a lead they would not relinquish.
