In a tightly contested battle in Week 12 of the 2026 season, the Atlanta Falcons topped the Minnesota Vikings 23-17, keeping their playoff hopes alive. With both teams vying for crucial positioning in the standings, every possession mattered, and the Falcons managed to hold off a late surge from Minnesota. Leading the charge for Atlanta was Bijan Robinson, who dominated on the ground with 144 rushing yards, providing the Falcons with a powerful offensive presence. Meanwhile, Kyler Murray showcased his skills for the Vikings, throwing for 276 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Jordan Addison was a reliable target, racking up 98 receiving yards, but the Falcons' balanced attack proved decisive. Defensively, Atlanta's Gervon Dexter Sr. played a pivotal role, recording a key sack that stalled a promising Vikings drive. The turning point came late in the game when the Falcons' defense managed to contain Murray's options, forcing him into critical errors that sealed the victory. Minnesota's Theo Jackson led the defense with four total tackles, but the Falcons' ability to make the necessary stops when it counted most ultimately determined the outcome.
