In a tightly contested NFC North showdown, the Green Bay Packers emerged victorious, defeating the Detroit Lions 21-10 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Packers secured a crucial win that keeps their postseason hopes alive while dealing a setback to their division rivals. Jordan Love was the standout performer for Green Bay, throwing three touchdown passes to propel his team to victory. On the other side, Trevor Lawrence put up solid numbers for the Lions with 172 passing yards, but struggled to find the end zone. Rashee Rice led Detroit's receiving corps with 63 yards, while Jahmyr Gibbs managed 52 rushing yards in a valiant effort. Defensively, the Packers made key plays that turned the tide in their favor, highlighted by a crucial interception from Benjamin St-Juste. The Lions' defense, led by Dolla DOLLA's five total tackles and a sack from D.J. Wonnum, kept the game competitive but could not contain Love's efficient passing attack. The turning point came in the second half when Green Bay's defense forced a turnover that led to a touchdown, sealing their victory and demonstrating their resilience in a pivotal matchup.
