In a tightly contested Week 4 matchup, the New York Jets narrowly defeated the Chicago Bears with a final score of 20-13, solidifying their position in the early part of the 2026 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Jets who ultimately emerged victorious. Leading the Jets' offense, quarterback Daniel Jones threw for 230 yards, showcasing his ability to move the chains effectively. Meanwhile, Bijan Robinson contributed significantly on the ground with 62 rushing yards, while Christian Watson led the receiving corps with 69 yards, providing Jones with reliable targets throughout the game. Though Sam Darnold managed to toss one touchdown for the Bears, it wasn't enough to swing the momentum in their favor. Defensively, the Jets made their mark with standout performances, particularly from Divine Deablo, who tallied 11 total tackles, and Quay Walker, who recorded two sacks. The game’s turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Walker's pressure led to a crucial turnover, stalling a potential game-tying drive for the Bears. The Jets' defense held firm, sealing the victory and keeping their playoff hopes alive.
