In a decisive Week 2 matchup, the New Orleans Saints topped the Baltimore Ravens 24-14, solidifying their early-season momentum. Both teams entered the game looking to secure their second win of the season, but it was the Saints who emerged victorious on the road, demonstrating a balanced offensive attack and a resilient defense. Leading the charge for New Orleans was Caleb Williams, who threw for 239 yards, while Jadarian Price dominated on the ground, racking up 113 rushing yards. Omar Cooper Jr. was a key target in the passing game, finishing with 114 receiving yards and providing crucial plays to keep the chains moving. Although Jalen Hurts tossed two touchdowns for Baltimore, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Saints' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Saints made pivotal plays that shifted the momentum of the game, highlighted by Josh Sweat's sack and Jalen Pitre's interception. The Ravens struggled to find their rhythm, and it was Pitre's timely pick that marked a turning point, thwarting a potential scoring drive and allowing New Orleans to maintain their lead. Roquan Smith's nine tackles showcased Baltimore's defensive effort, but it ultimately fell short against the Saints' well-rounded performance.
