In a tightly contested matchup, the Houston Texans squeaked past the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 24-20, securing a crucial victory in Week 6 of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, this win keeps Houston firmly in the hunt while the Jaguars look to rebound. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 235 yards and a touchdown. His ability to distribute the ball effectively kept the Jaguars' defense on their heels, while Bhayshul Tuten paced Jacksonville's ground game with 77 rushing yards. Brian Thomas Jr. emerged as a key target for the Jaguars, racking up 82 receiving yards in a losing effort. Defensively, the game was marked by standout performances, particularly from Henry To'oTo'o of the Texans, who picked off two passes, shifting the momentum in crucial moments. Kamari Lassiter’s three total tackles helped stifle the Jaguars' drives, but it was To'oTo'o's interceptions that proved pivotal, allowing Houston to maintain their lead in the second half. The turning point came late in the game when To'oTo'o's second interception set up a key scoring drive, sealing the Texans' victory.
