In a tightly contested matchup, the New Orleans Saints topped the Las Vegas Raiders 21-13, marking a crucial victory in Week 3 of the 2026 season. Both teams were looking to establish momentum early in the season, but it was the Saints who ultimately prevailed at home. Tyler Shough led the Saints' offense with a steady performance, throwing for a touchdown while managing the game effectively. Meanwhile, Travis Etienne Jr. was the standout player on the ground, racking up 113 rushing yards and providing a vital spark for New Orleans. Chris Olave also made his presence felt, leading the receiving corps with 78 yards, helping to keep the chains moving when it mattered most. Defensively, Chase Young was a force for the Saints, notching 1.5 sacks and applying consistent pressure on the Raiders' quarterback. The turning point came late in the second half when Young's sack forced a critical fumble, setting up a touchdown that extended New Orleans' lead. Despite Quay Walker's impressive seven tackles for the Raiders, they couldn't overcome the momentum shift, ultimately falling short in their comeback efforts.
