In a tightly contested matchup, the New York Giants triumphed over the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 27-20, securing their second win of the season. The stakes were high as both teams looked to establish momentum early in the 2026 campaign, but it was the Giants who emerged victorious on the road. Jaxson Dart led the charge for New York, throwing for 296 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing a commanding performance throughout the game. Meanwhile, Cam Skattebo proved to be a force on the ground, racking up 144 rushing yards, while Theo Johnson made key receptions, finishing with 91 receiving yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive trio that kept the Rams' defense on its heels. Defensively, the Giants were anchored by Ar'Darius Washington, who tallied seven total tackles, contributing significantly to the team's effort to contain the Rams’ offense. The turning point came in the second half when the Giants' defense stiffened, allowing the Rams to score only once in the final quarter. Myles Garrett of the Rams recorded 1.5 sacks, but it wasn't enough to swing the momentum back in favor of Los Angeles as New York held on for the win.
