In an explosive opening to the 2026 season, the Seattle Seahawks topped the New England Patriots with a commanding 43-28 victory. With both teams eager to start the year strong, Seattle established dominance early, showcasing their offensive firepower. Quarterback Jalen Milroe was the star of the night, delivering a stellar performance with 326 passing yards and five touchdowns. He was complemented by an impressive showing from receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who racked up 234 receiving yards, making key plays that shifted momentum in favor of the Seahawks. Meanwhile, TreVeyon Henderson led the ground game for the Patriots with 106 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Seattle's scoring barrage. Defensively, the Seahawks were relentless, with Julian Love leading the charge with seven total tackles. The turning point of the game came from Leonard Williams, whose two sacks on crucial drives disrupted the Patriots' rhythm and allowed Seattle to maintain control. Additionally, Ernest Jones IV's two interceptions further solidified the Seahawks' defense, proving that they could not only score but also stop New England when it mattered most.
