In a compelling Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season, the Green Bay Packers topped the New York Jets with a final score of 24-13. The win was crucial for the Packers as they aimed to establish momentum early in the season, while the Jets sought to bounce back from a disappointing opener. Packers quarterback Jordan Love shone brightly, throwing for two touchdowns, while Geno Smith of the Jets led all passers with 256 yards. On the ground, Breece Hall provided a strong performance for New York, rushing for 79 yards, and Omar Cooper Jr. made his presence felt with 97 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide in their favor. Defensively, the Packers were relentless, with Micah Parsons recording an impressive 2.5 sacks to disrupt the Jets' rhythm. Benjamin St-Juste anchored the secondary with nine total tackles, while Javon Bullard's interception proved pivotal in sealing the victory. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Bullard's pick set the stage for a touchdown drive that put Green Bay ahead for good.
