In a tightly contested matchup, the New York Giants narrowly defeated the Tennessee Titans 17-14 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. The victory was crucial for the Giants as they look to establish momentum early in the season, while the Titans aimed for their first win of the year. Offensively, Max Duggan led the Titans with 174 passing yards and a touchdown, but it was the Giants' ground game that stole the show. Cam Skattebo rushed for an impressive 104 yards, showcasing his ability to control the tempo and keep the chains moving. Despite Duggan's efforts, the Titans struggled to find consistency in the passing game, with Chimere Dike leading the receiving corps with just 62 yards. Defensively, the Giants held strong, with Tremaine Edmunds racking up four tackles, anchoring a unit that made crucial stops throughout the game. The turning point came in the second half when the Giants' defense stiffened, forcing the Titans to settle for a field goal instead of a touchdown. Though Cedric Gray managed to secure a sack for Tennessee and Alontae Taylor added an interception, the Giants' resilience ultimately sealed their victory.
