In a thrilling Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers narrowly defeated the Cleveland Browns with a final score of 31-28. Both teams were looking to secure their first win of the season, but it was the Buccaneers who emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle. Baker Mayfield was the star for Tampa Bay, throwing for 238 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Cade Otton was his primary target, racking up an impressive 141 receiving yards that played a crucial role in the Buccaneers' scoring drives. On the ground, Quinshon Judkins shined for the Browns, rushing for 102 yards, but ultimately it was not enough to clinch the win. Defensively, the Buccaneers made key plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Jacob Parrish led the team with five total tackles, helping to contain the Browns' offense when it mattered most. Tykee Smith’s interception proved to be a pivotal moment, halting a potential game-tying drive and allowing Tampa Bay to maintain their lead late in the fourth quarter.
