The Washington Commanders topped the Indianapolis Colts 45-35 in a thrilling Week 4 matchup of the 2026 season. Both teams entered this game looking to solidify their standings, but it was the Commanders who emerged victorious, showcasing a powerful offensive performance. Robert Griffin III was the standout performer for Washington, throwing for 4 touchdowns and adding 66 rushing yards to his impressive stat line. He connected with his receivers effectively, keeping the Colts' defense on their heels throughout the game. On the other side, Peyton Manning threw for 277 yards and kept the Colts competitive, but it wasn't enough to overcome Griffin's dynamic playmaking. Defensively, the Commanders made crucial plays that influenced the outcome, particularly Derek Stingley Jr.'s interception, which halted a promising Colts drive. The game’s turning point came in the third quarter when the Commanders scored back-to-back touchdowns, pushing their lead to two scores and forcing the Colts to play catch-up. With Malik Hooker's solid tackling for Indianapolis, it was clear that the Colts struggled to contain the explosive Washington offense when it mattered most.
