In a thrilling Week 2 showdown, the Jacksonville Jaguars narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos, 29-24, to secure their first win of the season. With both teams looking to build momentum early in the 2026 campaign, this matchup proved crucial for playoff aspirations. On the offensive side, Fred Taylor was the standout for Jacksonville, racking up 132 rushing yards, while Justin Fields of the Broncos showcased his arm with 126 passing yards and two touchdowns. Devontez Walker was a key target for Fields, accumulating 96 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Jaguars' balanced attack. Defensively, the Jaguars made pivotal plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Jacob Rodriguez led the charge with six total tackles, while Charles Omenihu added a sack to pressure Fields throughout the game. However, the real game-changer was A.J. Terrell Jr., who intercepted Fields twice, helping Jacksonville maintain control in the second half and ultimately seal the victory.
