The Green Bay Packers topped the Houston Texans 20-13 in a crucial Week 17 matchup, solidifying their playoff position as the regular season draws to a close. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, but it was the Packers who emerged victorious, showcasing their resilience on both sides of the ball. C.J. Stroud led the Texans offensively, throwing for 237 yards and one touchdown, while Tank Dell shined in the receiving game, racking up 96 yards. However, it was the Packers' Josh Jacobs who made a significant impact on the ground, rushing for 83 yards and helping to maintain control of the game. The Texans' offense showed flashes of brilliance but ultimately struggled to find the end zone consistently. Defensively, the game turned on a key interception by Carrington Valentine of the Packers, stalling a Texans drive that could have shifted momentum. Azeez Al-Shaair was a standout for Houston, recording nine tackles and two sacks, but his efforts weren't enough to overcome Green Bay's balanced attack. The Packers' ability to make critical plays on defense at pivotal moments sealed their hard-fought victory.
