In a high-octane season opener, the New England Patriots topped the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 76-50, making a strong statement as they kick off the 2027 season. Both teams showcased explosive offenses, but the Patriots ultimately outlasted the Cowboys in a game that featured plenty of fireworks. Leading the way for New England was quarterback Drake Maye, who threw for four touchdowns and helped propel his team to a commanding offensive performance. Meanwhile, Dak Prescott shone for Dallas, racking up an impressive 424 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Patriots. On the receiving end, George Pickens was a standout for the Cowboys, amassing 180 receiving yards, but the offensive output of New England proved too much to handle. On the defensive side, Gabe Jacas made his presence felt with two sacks, contributing significantly to the Patriots' pressure on Prescott. The turning point came when Germaine Pratt intercepted a crucial pass, shifting momentum firmly in favor of New England. Despite P.J. Locke's efforts with four tackles, Dallas struggled to contain the relentless Patriots attack, sealing their fate in this shootout.
