In a thrilling Week 13 showdown, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the Houston Texans with a final score of 23-22, solidifying their playoff hopes as the season winds down. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, looking to secure crucial positioning in the AFC playoff race. Pittsburgh's Drew Allar stood out as the offensive leader, throwing for 289 yards and tossing two touchdowns to guide his team to victory. His performance was bolstered by a strong rushing game from Rico Dowdle, who contributed 60 yards on the ground, and DK Metcalf, who topped the receiving charts with 101 yards. Allar's ability to connect with his targets proved pivotal in this tightly contested battle. Defensively, T.J. Watt made his presence felt, recording two sacks that disrupted Houston's offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Watt's pressure led to an interception, allowing the Steelers to maintain their slim lead. Houston's Azeez Al-Shaair was a standout on their side, racking up nine total tackles, but it wasn't enough to change the outcome as Pittsburgh held off their opponents in a nail-biter.
