In a thrilling Week 12 matchup of the 2026 season, the Washington Commanders topped the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 51-35. This victory was crucial for the Commanders as they continue to push for a playoff spot, while the Cardinals struggled to find their footing in a competitive NFC landscape. Quarterback Jayden Daniels turned in an impressive performance, throwing for 288 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his ability to stretch the field and connect with his playmakers. Wide receiver Terry McLaurin was a standout target, racking up 121 receiving yards and providing key plays that kept the offense rolling. Meanwhile, Jeremiyah Love led the ground attack for Arizona with 89 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Washington’s high-powered offense. Defensively, the Commanders made their presence felt, with Leo Chenal leading the team in tackles with six, and Odafe Oweh contributing a critical sack. The turning point came in the second half when Sonny Styles intercepted a pass, shifting momentum back to Washington and allowing them to extend their lead. The Commanders' defense, while not dominant, made timely plays that helped seal the victory and keep the Cardinals at bay.
