In a commanding performance, the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 48-17 in Week 10 of the 2026 season. This victory not only solidifies the 49ers' playoff aspirations but also sends a clear message about their dominance in the NFC. Brock Purdy led the charge for San Francisco, throwing for 2 touchdowns while amassing 274 passing yards. Christian McCaffrey showcased his explosive skills with 117 rushing yards, complementing Mike Evans' standout performance of 136 receiving yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive trio that overwhelmed the Cowboys' defense throughout the game. While Dallas struggled to keep pace, their defense did see standout performances, particularly from Caleb Downs, who recorded 8 total tackles. However, the turning point came when Dre Greenlaw intercepted a pass, shifting momentum squarely in favor of the 49ers and ultimately sealing the Cowboys' fate. San Francisco's defensive pressure, combined with an unstoppable offense, proved to be too much for Dallas to handle.
