In a decisive Week 8 matchup, the Cincinnati Bengals topped the Seattle Seahawks with a score of 28-7, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Bengals showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, as they continued to build momentum in the 2027 season. Joe Burrow was the star of the show, throwing for two touchdowns while leading a potent Bengals offense. Jaydon Blue complemented Burrow's performance with a stellar outing, rushing for 127 yards and keeping the chains moving throughout the game. On the other side, Sam Darnold managed 172 passing yards for the Seahawks, but it was not enough to keep pace with the Bengals' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Bengals were relentless, with DJ Turner II standing out with three total tackles and two crucial interceptions that thwarted Seattle's drives. Dexter Lawrence II also made his presence felt, recording two sacks and applying constant pressure on Darnold. The turning point came in the second quarter when Turner intercepted a pass deep in Bengals territory, shifting the momentum firmly in favor of Cincinnati and allowing them to control the game from that point forward.
