In an action-packed contest, the San Francisco 49ers narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos 34-28 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to establish momentum, this matchup was critical for positioning as the season progresses. The victory keeps the 49ers competitive in the playoff race, while the Broncos will need to regroup after a hard-fought battle. Brock Purdy was the star of the show for San Francisco, throwing for 237 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his efficiency and poise under pressure. De'Zhaun Stribling had a standout performance as well, racking up 107 receiving yards and providing a reliable target for Purdy throughout the game. On the ground, J.K. Dobbins led the Broncos with a strong 97 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Defensively, the 49ers made key plays that proved decisive, highlighted by Deommodore Lenoir’s interception that shifted momentum late in the game. Mykel Williams added to the pressure on the Broncos' offense with a critical sack, helping stifle their attempts to rally. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Lenoir's interception set up a touchdown drive that gave San Francisco the lead for good, sealing their hard-fought victory.
