The Las Vegas Raiders topped the New Orleans Saints 20-14 in a closely contested Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season. Both teams were looking to gain momentum early in the season, but it was the Raiders who ultimately secured the victory on the road. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza led the Raiders with an impressive 231 passing yards, while Tre Tucker shone in the receiving game with 94 yards. Despite being outperformed in the touchdown department by Saints quarterback Tyler Shough, who threw for two touchdowns, the Raiders' balanced offensive attack and strong ground game, highlighted by Mike Washington Jr.'s 58 rushing yards, proved to be the difference-maker. Defensively, the Saints struggled to keep the Raiders in check, though Kaden Elliss stood out with nine total tackles. The game’s turning point came in the fourth quarter when the Raiders managed to hold off a late Saints drive, allowing them to maintain their slim lead. With a key interception by Martin Emerson Jr. earlier in the game, the Saints had their chances, but ultimately, the Raiders' defense made just enough stops to clinch the win.
