The New York Giants narrowly defeated the Dallas Cowboys 24-21 in a tightly contested matchup during Week 2 of the 2027 season. With both teams vying for early dominance in the division, this victory gives the Giants a crucial boost as they look to establish their rhythm. Dak Prescott led the Cowboys with a strong performance, throwing for 275 yards and two touchdowns, connecting effectively with CeeDee Lamb, who racked up 124 receiving yards. However, it was Cam Skattebo's impressive 111 rushing yards that proved vital for the Giants, allowing them to maintain offensive momentum and control the clock. Defensively, the Giants made key plays that shifted the game in their favor. DaQuan Jones recorded a crucial sack, while Jevon Holland's interception was a turning point, halting a potential scoring drive from the Cowboys. The Giants' ability to capitalize on these defensive opportunities ultimately sealed their victory, allowing them to hold off a late push from Dallas.
