In a decisive Week 3 matchup, the New Orleans Saints topped the Indianapolis Colts with a commanding 31-6 victory. This win not only boosts the Saints' momentum early in the 2027 season but also raises questions about the Colts' ability to compete against strong defensive squads. Tyler Shough led the charge for New Orleans, throwing for 208 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to find the end zone with precision. Juwan Johnson emerged as his top target, racking up 91 receiving yards, while Travis Etienne Jr added a solid ground game with 61 rushing yards. The Saints' offensive depth proved too much for the Colts to handle. Defensively, the Saints were relentless, with Justin Reid leading the way with six tackles. Carl Granderson made his mark with two sacks, pressuring the Colts' offense consistently. The turning point came early in the second half when Martin Emerson Jr intercepted a pass, shifting the momentum firmly in favor of New Orleans and sealing the Colts' fate.
