In a pivotal Week 18 showdown, the Orlando Orbits topped the Buffalo Bills 38-24, clinching a vital victory as they head into the postseason. With this win, the Orbits solidified their playoff positioning, proving their mettle in a crucial late-season matchup. Cade Klubnik was the standout performer for Orlando, throwing for 298 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Supporting him was Omar Cooper Jr., who recorded 98 receiving yards, making key catches that helped sustain drives and keep the Bills' defense on its heels. Meanwhile, James Cook III led the ground game for Buffalo with 96 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the explosive Orbits offense. Defensively, the Orbits made their mark with Minkah Fitzpatrick's interception, which proved to be a turning point in the game. Buffalo struggled to mount a comeback after that critical play, as the Orlando defense maintained pressure throughout the contest. Despite Harrison Smith's eight tackles and Deone Walker's sack for the Bills, it was the Orbits' opportunistic defense that ultimately sealed their victory, allowing them to outlast a resilient Buffalo team.
