In a thrilling Week 11 matchup, the Tokyo 49ers narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 42-14, solidifying their playoff aspirations. With both teams vying for postseason positioning, this victory was crucial for the 49ers as they look to maintain momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. Brock Purdy was the standout performer for Tokyo, throwing for an impressive 274 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his targets under pressure. De'Zhaun Stribling emerged as his top receiving option, racking up 106 yards and proving to be a reliable playmaker. However, the ground game was largely stifled, with Christian McCaffrey managing only 17 rushing yards, highlighting the 49ers' reliance on the passing attack. Defensively, the 49ers made their presence felt, with Dexter Lawrence II recording three total tackles and two sacks, disrupting the Vikings' offensive rhythm. Upton Stout also contributed with a pivotal interception, helping to shift the momentum in favor of Tokyo. The turning point came in the second quarter when Purdy connected with Stribling for a critical touchdown, allowing the 49ers to pull ahead and maintain control for the remainder of the game.
