In a commanding performance, the Buffalo Bills topped the Minnesota Vikings 38-20 in Week 9 of the 2026 season. This victory solidifies the Bills' position in the playoff race as they continue to build momentum heading into the second half of the season. Josh Allen led the charge for Buffalo, throwing for 246 yards and contributing to the offensive onslaught. James Cook III added a solid ground game with 83 rushing yards, while DJ Moore was the standout receiver, racking up 134 yards through the air. The Bills' offensive efficiency proved to be too much for the Vikings to handle, especially with J.J. McCarthy's two touchdown passes struggling to keep pace. Defensively, the Bills made key plays that turned the tide in their favor. T.J. Parker's 1.5 sacks disrupted Minnesota's rhythm, while Harrison Smith's interception was a pivotal moment that shifted momentum back to Buffalo. With Blake Cashman leading the Vikings with 8 tackles, Minnesota's defense was unable to contain the relentless Bills offense, ultimately sealing their fate in this matchup.
