In a pivotal Week 7 matchup of the 2026 season, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Seattle Seahawks 26-14, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Chiefs showcased their offensive prowess while the Seahawks aimed to keep their postseason hopes alive but ultimately fell short. Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs with a strong performance, throwing for 209 yards and adding 48 rushing yards to his total. Meanwhile, Xavier Worthy was a standout target, racking up 114 receiving yards. Although Jalen Milroe tossed two touchdown passes for Seattle, it wasn't enough to overcome Kansas City's offensive firepower. Defensively, Kobie Turner was a force for the Chiefs, recording four total tackles and three sacks, while Mansoor Delane added two crucial interceptions. The game's turning point came in the second half when Delane's interception halted a Seahawks drive, allowing the Chiefs to extend their lead and take control. Kansas City's defense consistently pressured Milroe, ultimately sealing the victory and demonstrating their dominance on both sides of the ball.
