In a high-scoring affair, the New York Jets triumphed over the Arizona Cardinals with a commanding final score of 61-35. This Week 15 matchup was crucial for both teams, as the Jets look to solidify their playoff positioning while the Cardinals aimed to stay competitive in the race for a wildcard spot. On the offensive side, Jonathan Taylor was the star of the day for the Jets, racking up an impressive 188 rushing yards and contributing significantly to the team's overall offensive output. Meanwhile, Carson Beck of the Cardinals showcased his skills with a strong performance, throwing for 275 yards and three touchdowns. Trey McBride also had a standout game for Arizona, collecting 132 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Jets' relentless attack. Defensively, Minkah Fitzpatrick made a game-changing impact for New York with three interceptions, stifling any momentum the Cardinals hoped to build. Despite Zaven Collins' efforts with 1.5 sacks for Arizona, the Jets' defense, led by T'Vondre Sweat's three tackles, managed to clamp down at critical moments. The turning point came in the second quarter when Fitzpatrick's first interception set up a touchdown that shifted the momentum firmly in favor of the Jets, allowing them to maintain control for the remainder of the game.
