In a thrilling Week 13 matchup, the Washington Commanders narrowly defeated the Tennessee Titans by a score of 24-20. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Commanders who emerged victorious, solidifying their position in the playoff race as the season approaches its final stretch. Tennessee's Cam Ward put on a show through the air, throwing for 358 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to make big plays. However, it was Breece Hall of the Commanders who stole the spotlight on the ground, racking up 97 rushing yards and providing Washington with a crucial offensive spark. Meanwhile, Carnell Tate was a standout for the Titans, racking up a staggering 177 receiving yards, but it ultimately wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Titans were led by Cody Barton, who recorded nine total tackles, but their efforts fell short as they struggled to contain the Commanders’ balanced attack. The turning point in the game came late in the fourth quarter when Washington's defense held firm on a critical drive, forcing a turnover on downs that allowed them to maintain their slim lead and seal the victory.
