In a thrilling Week 8 matchup, the Buffalo Bills topped the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 34-23, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The victory was crucial for Buffalo, as they look to maintain momentum heading into the second half of the season. Josh Allen led the Bills with a strong performance, throwing for 2 touchdowns and contributing to the offensive onslaught. James Cook III was a game-changer on the ground, racking up 109 rushing yards, which helped keep the Chiefs' defense on their heels. Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes passed for 246 yards and kept the game competitive, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Bills' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Bills made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Christian Benford's interception proved pivotal, halting a potential scoring drive from the Chiefs and allowing Buffalo to maintain control. T.J. Parker's sack added pressure to Mahomes, further complicating the Chiefs' efforts to rally back, and ultimately sealing the win for Buffalo.
