The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cruised to a commanding 34-6 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 7 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. With this win, the Buccaneers continue to demonstrate their offensive prowess and defensive resilience, asserting their dominance in the NFC South. Baker Mayfield was the standout performer for Tampa Bay, throwing for 304 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Bucky Irving added a solid ground game with 101 rushing yards, while Emeka Egbuka emerged as a key target, racking up 132 receiving yards. This offensive trio proved too much for the Panthers to handle, consistently moving the chains and putting points on the board. Defensively, the Buccaneers were equally impressive, with Kamari Lassiter leading the charge with nine total tackles and an interception that shifted momentum in favor of Tampa Bay. The turning point came in the second quarter when Lassiter's interception set up another scoring drive, allowing the Buccaneers to extend their lead and effectively put the game out of reach. With a strong effort on both sides of the ball, Tampa Bay demonstrated their readiness for a postseason push.
