In a thrilling Week 4 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders narrowly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 35-32, solidifying their place in the competitive AFC West. The stakes were high as both teams sought to establish momentum early in the season, but it was the Raiders who emerged victorious in this intense battle. Fernando Mendoza shone for the Raiders, throwing for 269 yards and three touchdowns, leading the charge on offense. He connected seamlessly with standout receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr., who racked up 102 receiving yards, while Ashton Jeanty added 83 rushing yards to keep the Chiefs' defense on their toes throughout the game. Defensively, the Raiders made crucial plays that swung the momentum in their favor. Darien Porter led the charge with nine total tackles, while Jeremy Chinn intercepted a key pass that stifled a potential Chiefs scoring drive. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Mendoza orchestrated a game-winning drive, sealing the deal for Las Vegas and leaving Kansas City to ponder what could have been.
