In a thrilling Week 3 matchup, the Los Angeles Rams held off the Denver Broncos with a final score of 31-28, securing a crucial victory early in the 2026 season. Both teams entered the game looking to establish momentum, but it was the Rams who ultimately came out on top in this nail-biter. Matthew Stafford was the standout performer for Los Angeles, throwing for 376 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his veteran poise and accuracy. Puka Nacua emerged as his favorite target, racking up an impressive 148 receiving yards, while RJ Harvey led the ground game for Denver with 94 rushing yards, keeping the Broncos competitive throughout the contest. Defensively, the Broncos had some bright spots, with Talanoa Hufanga leading the charge with eight total tackles and Zach Allen contributing a notable 1.5 sacks. However, it was the Rams’ ability to capitalize on offensive opportunities that proved decisive, as Stafford's fourth touchdown pass in the closing minutes sealed the deal. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when a key interception halted a promising Broncos drive, allowing the Rams to maintain their slim lead and outlast Denver.
