In a decisive victory, the Washington Commanders topped the Dallas Cowboys 38-3 in Week 18 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff positioning. The Commanders showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, with Dallas struggling to find an offensive rhythm throughout the contest. Baker Mayfield was the star of the show, throwing for 327 yards and two touchdowns, effectively connecting with Stefon Diggs, who racked up 121 receiving yards. Antonio Williams added a solid ground game with 71 rushing yards, contributing to the overwhelming offensive performance that left the Cowboys reeling. Defensively, the Commanders were relentless, led by Shavon Revel Jr., who tallied eight total tackles, and Odafe Oweh, who recorded two sacks. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Washington's defense forced a critical turnover, allowing Mayfield to extend the lead and effectively put the game out of reach for Dallas. The Commanders’ ability to dominate both offensively and defensively was the key to their commanding win.
