In a pivotal Week 17 matchup, the New England Patriots secured a 31-20 victory over the Denver Broncos, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season winds down. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, but it was the Patriots who ultimately emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess. Drake Maye led the charge for New England, throwing for 279 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating his ability to command the field under pressure. Complementing his performance was TreVeyon Henderson, who added 85 rushing yards, and Romeo Doubs, who topped the receiving charts with 126 yards. This offensive trio kept the Broncos' defense on its heels throughout the contest. Defensively, the Patriots managed to stifle key plays from the Broncos, limiting their scoring opportunities. The turning point came when Maye threw a crucial touchdown pass late in the second quarter, putting the Patriots ahead for good. Although Alex Singleton recorded eight tackles for Denver, the lack of pressure on Maye allowed him to find open receivers and maintain control of the game, ultimately leading to New England's decisive win.
