In a crucial Week 16 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 35-23, solidifying their playoff aspirations. The victory keeps the Jaguars firmly in contention as the season winds down, while the Cowboys will need to regroup to keep their postseason hopes alive. Trevor Lawrence was the standout performer for Jacksonville, throwing for 214 yards and an impressive four touchdown passes. His efficient playmaking was key to the Jaguars’ offensive success, as he connected with multiple targets to keep the chains moving. Meanwhile, Dallas relied on Javonte Williams, who rushed for 115 yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Jacksonville's potent aerial attack. Defensively, the Jaguars made their mark with a strong performance, highlighted by Caleb Ransaw's six total tackles and Travon Walker's impactful sack. Antonio Johnson also recorded a crucial interception that shifted momentum in Jacksonville's favor. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Johnson's pick set up a touchdown drive, allowing the Jaguars to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win.
