In a dominating performance, the Carolina Panthers topped the Pittsburgh Steelers 41-7 in Week 16 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Panthers showcased their offensive firepower, solidifying their position as a formidable contender in the league. Quarterback Bryce Young led the charge for Carolina, throwing for an impressive 300 yards and five touchdowns, exhibiting remarkable precision and control throughout the game. Chuba Hubbard was also instrumental in the victory, rushing for 117 yards, providing balance to the Panthers' offensive attack. Meanwhile, DK Metcalf shone for the Steelers, racking up 144 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, the Panthers were relentless, with Chau Smith-Wade making a significant impact by snagging two interceptions, turning the tide in their favor. Tre'von Moehrig's four tackles helped stifle the Steelers' attempts to establish any momentum. The turning point came early in the second half when Carolina's defense forced a critical turnover, allowing the offense to extend their lead and effectively seal the game.
