In a thrilling Week 16 matchup, the New York Jets took down the New England Patriots with a final score of 38-21, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the regular season winds down. The Jets' victory showcased their offensive prowess and defensive resilience, keeping them in contention for a top seed in the postseason. Drake Maye led the charge for the Patriots, throwing for 257 yards and three touchdowns, but it was the Jets' Breece Hall who stole the spotlight with a stunning 177 rushing yards. Jeff Caldwell also made a significant impact, racking up 160 receiving yards and consistently moving the chains, helping New York build a commanding lead. Defensively, the Jets were anchored by Brandon Stephens, who not only recorded six total tackles but also snagged two crucial interceptions, thwarting any chance of a Patriots comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Stephens picked off Maye, setting the tone for the Jets' dominant performance and ultimately sealing the game in their favor.
