The Arizona Cardinals narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings 17-14 in a tightly contested Week 2 matchup of the 2027 season. Both teams entered the game looking to establish momentum early in the season, but it was the Cardinals who ultimately came out on top in a hard-fought battle. Quarterback Joe Milton was the star of the day for Arizona, throwing for 247 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense. He found a reliable target in Marvin Harrison Jr., who racked up 116 receiving yards, making key plays to move the chains. On the ground, Demond Claiborne of the Vikings made an impact with 104 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, Isaiah Bolden led the Cardinals with nine total tackles, providing crucial stops to keep the Vikings at bay. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Cardinals' defense held strong, forcing a turnover on downs that allowed them to maintain their slim lead. With this victory, Arizona solidifies their position as a team to watch this season.
