In a pivotal Week 14 matchup, the New England Patriots topped the Minnesota Vikings 31-21, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season approaches its climax. With both teams vying for crucial wins, the Patriots showcased their offensive prowess to secure the victory at home. Drake Maye was the standout performer for New England, throwing for an impressive 296 yards and three touchdown passes, demonstrating both precision and poise throughout the game. Complementing Maye's efforts, TreVeyon Henderson added to the offensive explosion with 84 rushing yards, while Hunter Henry emerged as a key target, racking up a remarkable 149 receiving yards. Defensively, the Patriots made critical plays, with Milton Williams leading the charge with two sacks that disrupted Minnesota's rhythm. Although the Vikings' Jake Golday shined with six total tackles and two interceptions, it was a late-game interception that ultimately turned the tide, allowing New England to maintain control and secure the victory. The combination of a potent offense and timely defensive stops proved decisive in this clash of playoff contenders.
