The Detroit Lions cruised to a commanding 51-13 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 12 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams looking to gain momentum, the Lions showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, leaving no doubt about their superiority in this matchup. Jared Goff was the standout performer for Detroit, throwing for 298 yards and an impressive five touchdown passes. He connected seamlessly with his receivers, including Amon-Ra St. Brown, who tallied 87 receiving yards. Meanwhile, Jahmyr Gibbs stole the show on the ground, racking up 149 rushing yards and adding a touchdown to his impressive performance, making it a complete offensive effort for the Lions. Defensively, the Lions made their mark with a relentless pass rush, highlighted by Derrick Moore, who registered two sacks. The Lions' defense effectively disrupted the Bears' offensive flow, making it difficult for them to establish any rhythm. The game's turning point came early in the second quarter when a critical interception led to a quick touchdown, shifting the momentum firmly in favor of Detroit and putting the game out of reach for Chicago.
