In a dominant performance, the New York Jets topped the Houston Texans with a resounding 63-25 victory in Week 6 of the 2027 season. The win keeps the Jets in strong contention as they look to solidify their playoff positioning, while the Texans struggle to regain their footing after this setback. Cade Klubnik led the offensive charge for the Jets, throwing for three touchdowns while the ground game showcased the explosive talent of Breece Hall, who racked up an impressive 248 rushing yards. On the other side, C.J. Stroud put on a valiant effort for the Texans, passing for 416 yards and connecting frequently with Nico Collins, who amassed 212 receiving yards. However, it wasn’t enough to keep pace with New York's offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Jets applied consistent pressure, with DeVaunte Linsley recording 1.5 sacks to disrupt Houston's rhythm. The game's turning point came early in the second half when a crucial interception by Calen Bullock gave the Texans hope, but the Jets' defense quickly stifled their momentum, allowing them to pull away decisively.
