In a commanding performance, the Denver Broncos topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 47-22, further solidifying their position in the league as they improve to 3-1 on the season. The stakes were high in this Week 4 matchup, with both teams looking to gain momentum early in the year. Bo Nix was the star of the night for Denver, throwing for 318 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Bucky Irving dominated on the ground, racking up an impressive 226 rushing yards, while Courtland Sutton was a standout in the receiving game with 166 yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive trio that overwhelmed the 49ers’ defense. Defensively, the Broncos made their mark with Nik Bonitto contributing significantly, recording 1.5 sacks that disrupted San Francisco’s rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Bonitto's pressure on the quarterback led to a critical turnover, allowing the Broncos to extend their lead and ultimately control the game. Jack Jones led the 49ers with four tackles, but it was clear that Denver's defensive efforts, coupled with their explosive offense, were the key to their decisive victory.
