In a decisive Week 2 matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Indianapolis Colts with a final score of 50-7, showcasing their offensive firepower and stifling defense. The Chiefs, looking to establish themselves early in the 2026 season, delivered a commanding performance that left no doubt about their intentions. Patrick Mahomes led the charge for Kansas City, tossing two touchdown passes while Kenneth Walker ran wild, racking up an impressive 210 rushing yards. On the other side, Anthony Richardson Sr managed just 144 passing yards for the Colts, and Deion Burks was the lone bright spot in the receiving game with 74 yards, but it wasn’t nearly enough to keep pace with the Chiefs' explosive offense. Defensively, George Karlaftis was a standout for Kansas City, recording five total tackles and three sacks, consistently pressuring the Colts' quarterback. The turning point of the game came early in the second quarter when Jaden Hicks intercepted a pass, setting up another scoring drive for the Chiefs and effectively putting the game out of reach. Kansas City’s defense proved relentless, stifling Indianapolis at every turn and contributing to a lopsided victory.
