In a commanding performance, the Indianapolis Colts secured a 25-7 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in their Week 1 matchup, kicking off the 2026 season with a statement win. The Colts showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting year. Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. led the charge for Indianapolis, throwing for 181 yards and one touchdown, while receiver Josh Downs made a significant impact with 80 receiving yards. The Colts' offense was efficient and methodical, creating opportunities and capitalizing on them, which ultimately stifled the Ravens' attempts to mount a comeback. Defensively, the Colts were relentless, with Hunter Wohler recording five total tackles and CJ Allen snagging an interception that shifted momentum in their favor. The game's turning point came early in the second half when Allen's interception set up a touchdown, extending the Colts' lead to 18-7 and putting the Ravens on their heels. With pressure from their defensive line, including a sack by Nnamdi Madubuike, the Colts’ defense ensured the Ravens' offense struggled throughout the game.
