Rico Dowdle contributed significantly on the ground with 83 rushing yards, allowing the Colts to maintain a balanced offensive attack. Despite the Bengals' defensive efforts, the Colts' offensive firepower proved too much to handle. Defensively, the Colts were able to stifle the Bengals' momentum at key moments, but the spotlight belonged to Cincinnati's Tacario Davis, who recorded three tackles and snagged an interception, providing a brief glimmer of hope for his team. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Daniel Jones connected for his third touchdown pass, giving the Colts a two-score lead they would not relinquish. The Bengals struggled to respond, ultimately falling short in their comeback efforts as Indianapolis clinched a vital win.
