In a dominant display to kick off the 2027 season, the Denver Broncos cruised to a 42-7 victory over the Cleveland Browns. The stakes were high as both teams looked to make a statement in Week 1, but it was the Broncos who established their superiority early on. Bo Nix was the star of the show for Denver, racking up 267 passing yards and tossing five touchdown passes. Puka Nacua showcased his receiving prowess, finishing the game with an impressive 174 receiving yards, proving to be a favorite target for Nix. Despite a tough day for the Browns' offense, Dylan Sampson managed to lead his team in rushing with just 13 yards. Defensively, the Broncos were relentless, with Kris Abrams-Draine leading the way with three total tackles. The turning point came in the first half when Jahdae Barron intercepted a pass, shifting momentum firmly in favor of Denver. With Braden Fiske contributing a half sack, the Broncos' defense consistently pressured the Browns, ensuring they never found their rhythm throughout the game.
