In a commanding performance, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the New England Patriots 52-21 in Week 6 of the 2027 season. The Chiefs entered the game looking to solidify their playoff positioning, and they did just that with a decisive victory on the road. Patrick Mahomes was electric for Kansas City, throwing for five touchdowns and showcasing his ability to stretch the field. Meanwhile, Xavier Worthy emerged as his top target, racking up 117 receiving yards to keep the chains moving. On the other side, Drake Maye put up an impressive 350 passing yards for the Patriots, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Chiefs' offensive explosion. Defensively, the game turned on Kansas City’s ability to stifle New England's momentum, led by Jadon Canady's six total tackles. Although Milton Williams made his presence felt with three sacks for the Patriots, the lack of consistent pressure allowed Mahomes to operate comfortably. The Chiefs' defense capitalized on key moments, forcing turnovers and limiting the Patriots' scoring opportunities, sealing the game well before the final whistle.
