The New Orleans Saints topped the Cleveland Browns with a final score of 17-7 in a crucial Week 9 showdown of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Saints secured a vital victory to bolster their postseason hopes while leaving the Browns scrambling for answers. Leading the charge for the Saints was their quarterback, who threw for 288 yards and two touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to command the field. His top target, a standout receiver, racked up 113 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable option throughout the game. The Browns' Quinshon Judkins contributed with 65 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Saints' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Saints made critical plays that shifted the momentum, highlighted by a key interception that halted a potential scoring drive for the Browns. Meanwhile, the Browns' Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah recorded nine total tackles, leading his team in defensive efforts, but it was the Saints' ability to apply pressure and force turnovers that ultimately sealed the deal. The turning point came late in the third quarter when the Saints' defense stifled a Browns drive, allowing their offense to capitalize and expand their lead.
